I usually run pretty small, and I don't have a lot of curves to begin with. I bought these in a size small and there's some portions of the fabric around the crotch that don't cling to my skin. Even that said, if I gained a pound or two, that issue would take care of itself. These are surprisingly comfortable, super cute, and I would definitely recommend them.
