Every single person on the Adore Me team remains committed to reducing our organization’s carbon footprint — and where we aren’t able to reduce emissions (yet!), we look to reliable carbon credits as a way to mitigate our remaining impact.

How We’re Making It Happen

Reducing our carbon footprint is no easy task — so our team tackles the challenge coming from three different directions.

    Our team has been effectively measuring Adore Me’s emissions for the entire calendar year, and we’ll continue to do the same every year to gauge where and how much we can improve.

  • Prioritizing Actions

    We don’t just talk — we do. Our team prioritizes avenues for emissions reduction that are actionable, operationally feasible, and impactful. From transportation to sourcing and material selection, we leave no stone unturned.

  • Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

    By leveraging effective practices and tools, every team at Adore Me works together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Measuring Our Carbon Impact

For the past two years, Adore Me has worked closely with the team over at Carbonfact to increase transparency across our value chain. More specifically, Carbonfact uses cutting-edge technology to sync with Adore Me’s internal systems to analyze data like material type and weight — and as a result, we get real-time insight surrounding our carbon emissions at an individual product level.

This is pretty revolutionary information that we haven’t always had access to, and we’re excited to use it — now and in years to come — to minimize Adore Me’s carbon footprint. 

Mitigating Our Carbon Impact

Despite the progress we make in reducing our carbon footprint, of course, our carbon footprint still exists — no matter how much we shrink it. While our team continues to develop and strengthen our emissions-reduction strategy, we rely on carbon credits (one of the few available tools to contribute to global carbon neutrality) to mitigate the emissions we aren’t able to reduce.

Adore Me is proud to contribute to diverse and meaningful projects that have positive impacts across the globe — from tropical swamp forests in Indonesia to farms in Brazil.

Reforest’Action

Reforest’Action is a B Corp Certified company dedicated to preserving, restoring, and creating forests throughout the world in response to the climate emergency and biodiversity loss. Since its creation in 2010, Reforest’Action has planted and regenerated over 20 million trees in 42 countries.

Pachama

Pachama is a technology company whose mission is to restore nature and solve climate change. By harnessing AI and remote-sensing technology, Pachama verifies and monitors carbon captures by forests to help adequately finance conservation and reforestation efforts.
